Hibisbloom is proud to support Oasis of Maternity, a small non-profit run by a passionate and experienced midwife who saw the need to help raise awareness about infant and maternal birth that was affecting many new women due to a lack of information and proper care before and during childbirth.
We want to support her on her mission by providing financial support as most of this is a passion project that requires a lot of funds to continue to help.
Why This Matters
According to UNICEF maternal mortality declined by 34 percent between 2000 and 2020 but it is still a big problem in Africa as the continent is yet to catch up with an accessible modern healthcare system. Many women are still facing childbirth death due to the lack of adequate care and education and this is where Oasis of Maternity comes into play to help.
